ACM’s Advisory Board

The Advisory Board gives solicited and unsolicited advice to the Board of ACM regarding ACM’s strategic course, operations, finances, its relations with relevant ministries, as well as major changes in the organization. The Advisory Board is comprised of at least three and up to five members. These members are appointed for four years.

The Advisory Board’s current members are:

Jeroen Kremers
Chair

Jeroen Kremers has been chair of ACM’s Advisory Board since February 1, 2024. He serves on the supervisory boards of NIBC Bank (chair of the Audit Committee), on the Capital Markets Committee of the Authority for Financial Markets, and as chair of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (Europe). Until recently, he acted as the State Agent KLM supervising the conditions attached to support of the Dutch State for KLM, and as Crown-appointed member of the System Oversight Board of the Netherlands legal profession.

Mr. Kremers began his career in 1986 as an economist at the IMF. Since then, he held several managerial and execture positions at the Dutch Ministry of Finance. He earned his PhD degree in Economics from Oxford, having also earned degrees in Quantitative Economics from Bristol University and in Econometrics from Tilburg University.

Ton de Jong

Ton de Jong has been a member of ACM’s Advisory Board since February 1, 2024. Mr. De Jong is executive chairman of TwynstraGudde, a consulting firm specialized in the public-private interface and in social problems in the public sector. He is also a member of the supervisory boards of Dutch public broadcaster NOS, Inholland University of Applied Sciences, and Windpark Fryslân (a wind park in the north of the Netherlands). His previous positions include managing director of TNO’s former Energy Transition unit, which brought together the applied energy research units of TNO, ECN, and the Geological Survey of the Netherlands (GDN). Mr. De Jong earned his degree in business economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Rafik Majiti

Rafik Majiti has been a member of ACM’s Advisory Board since February 1, 2024. Mr. Majiti is global head of Digital Channels at ING Wholesale Banking. Prior to that, he was executive vice-president at Mashreq Bank UAE, responsible for the digital transformation. In addition, he is the co-founder of Cobase, a platform that connects financial service providers with banks worldwide. Mr. Majiti has earned his MBA in Strategic Marketing from Henley Business School (UK). He studied International Economics at Tilburg University.

Pauline Meurs

Pauline Meurs has been a member of ACM’s Advisory Board since February 1, 2024. Ms. Meurs is professor emerita of health care administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In addition, she was chair of the Council of Public Health & Society (RVS), a Dutch Senator, a member of the Dutch Safety Board, and a member of the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR). Ms. Meurs is chair of the Supervisory Board of the Culture Fund (Cultuurfonds). In addition, she is a member of the supervisory boards of mental health care provider Parnassiagroep, special needs care provider ’s Heeren Loo, and university of applied sciences ArtEZ. Ms. Meurs studied sociology and organization studies in Rotterdam and Leiden.
